This sounds an awful lot like a fortune teller to me, or a prophet. We are led to believe that Gaia Man has visions from some source that gives him an edge over the average person. An edge that is better than random chance or studying the newspapers and making educated guesses.

Now if Gaia Man had a really good prediction percentage you folks would be pointing out the fact that Gaia Man is a great prophet. The fact is, he has a lousy prediction percentage so where are the bullshit flags?

If this were any other thread, the bullshit flags would be flying unfettered in the wind. But you guys like Gaia Man and think he is a nice guy. He is a nice guy, but where is the accountability?

If this is just a fun thread and we are not meant to take anything that Gaia Man has written seriously, then I want to see a disclaimer from him that this is so. Otherwise I have to assume that he is being totally serious.

I know that Gaia Man has claimed that he is not a prophet. His subject line counterdicts this statement.

The facts have come to be this:

Gaia Man has visions that are seldom true but fun to talk about. Various folks at GLP learn about Gaia Man's predictions and pray or otherwise send their positive energy out to the universe so that catastrophies may be avoided. Everyone is happy, and everyone love Gaia man.
