I am still looking forward to hear about the Palestinian people and Palestine, their
country or what is left of it at least as it is in the WESTBANK AND GAZA.!!!
--------------------------------------------
Your leader will be murdered by his own people.
The fight goes on, because The Palestinian people do not speak with 1 voice. At
one moment they will not fight Israel, but fight each other.
To many camps who want to have total power.
Many will flee to Jordan. Then 1 man will come and unite the people of Palestine.
He will have a close friendship with the new leader of Israel.
There will be peace at the end, with a independent Palestine State, accepted
worldwide.
But its still a long road to go.

The countdown is running.

Voiceless Watchman ist coming.

Is it right, that his perihelion is on 6.6.06?

Is it right, that object BD has SINCE MANY DAYS a time window of 11:11 on May 11?

Is it right, that NO object in NEOs data ever hits earth, because it can reach earth with infinite shrinking distance, but never zero - never passing on the other side of the earth?

Clock is ticking.

@91598

Hallo AC 91598,

International Space Station Problems

International Space Station Problems

May 10, 2006 9:15 a.m. EST

Andrea Moore - All Headline News Staff Reporter

Houston, TX (AHN) Several failures on the International Space Station in recent weeks have left it with fewer altitude-boosting options. And although it is a remote possibility, the failures leave the station more vulnerable to being hit by a piece of space debris.

The problems began on April 19, 2006, when the Russian Zvezda service module's main engines failed during a test. Then on May 4, the Progress ship docked to the station fired its engines for 6.5 minutes to boost the station's orbit but after thruster firing, the crew received an error message.

NASA says that Russian ground controllers could still command the thrusters to fire remotely. However, those commands can only be sent when the ISS is in contact with Russian ground stations and it is out of range for six out of its 16 orbits every day.

The International Space Station could potentially be without a way to dodge fast-flying space debris if the service module thrusters fail during a period when the Progress thrusters were beyond Russia's ground control.

Snip.

ALAN KOHLER: You've been reported as predicting that the price of gold will rise to $US6,000 per ounce. Is that correct - is that what you said?

MARC FABER: What I said is that if Mr Bernanke prints money, it is entirely conceivable that the Dow Jones goes to 33,000 or 40,000 or 100,000 or 1 million. All I am saying is if the Dow Jones here goes up three times because of money printing by Mr Bernanke and we have examples in financial history where a central bank printed money and everything went up, but in this instance I think that gold would significantly outperform the Dow Jones. So if someone says to me the Dow will go to 33,000, I say yes, it's possible but it will decline against the price of gold which will go up to $US5,000, $US6,000 an ounce.

ALAN KOHLER: Did you notice that Steven Roach, the chief economist of Morgan Stanley, who has been a bear for a very long time, seems to have changed his tune now, saying he's feeling better about the world than for a long time. Do you think that the fact that Steve Roach has kind of thrown in the towel is a sell signal or do you think he's onto something?

MARC FABER: Well, Steve is a good friend of mine and he gave already a sell signal two years ago. He suddenly turned bullish about bonds and since then the bond market has been weak. And I agree with him that we are in a global boom but it doesn't change the fact that it is an imbalanced boom and it's driven largely by credit creation in the US, leading to overconsumption, leading to a growing trade deficit, current account deficit, the accumulation of reserves in Asia and a global boom. But it is nevertheless an imbalanced boom and one day there will be a problem, certainly with the US dollar. The US dollar is a doomed currency. Doomed? Doomed. Will be worthless. Actually each one of your listeners should buy one US Treasury bond and frame it - put it on the wall so they can show their grandchildren how the US dollar and how US dollar bonds became worthless as a result of monetary inflation.

End Snip.

Don't read this and weep.

Read this and and act!

I have no idea about the relevance of an article of two spontis talking about future hyper inflation or getting passports for myself or relatives in regards to Gaia Man's predictions would be. You don't seem to get the broader picture here: not any one country (USA) will be affected but all of them; especially the industrialized (western) ones.
All of mankind has finally come to a dead end, most people will perish. What comes afterward can be anyones guess; I am pretty sure it won't be a resurrection in any form, size or shape of all this corruption that came before, even if history might indicate otherwise - but then, history, as we know it, will have ended anyway.

It's pretty simple actually. In the very case of a hyperinflationary situation, PREPARE. This can be anything, stocking up, converting to precious metals now, reinvesting in other currencies, etc...up to you. But the whole idea here is to prepare. Gaiaman said that we should be prepared too, see the link now?

And you are correct, not just the US but the entire world's economy would be affected too. Although it varies from heavy to not so heavy (there's no light here as the US is more than 95% of the world's top traders), but still all would be affected. The situation is already here to be seen, the USD is sliding down the drain in amazing speed. When the OIB opens in Iran, I really can't make out what's left of the USD and its debts. People are now acting like pussies, that they're trying to play safe and stay away from the dollar. But they don't realize that it would further speed things up instead. The US is now at threshold of its worst depression....opps, not depression but rather a collapse. People of US must stop their arrogance that they've been holding onto all this time and wake up to see this danger now or never. Whatever it is, all the best folks.

IMF acts to avoid markets meltdown

Heather Stewart, economics correspondent
Sunday May 14, 2006
The Observer

The International Monetary Fund is in behind-the-scenes talks with the
US, China and other major powers to arrange a series of top-level
meetings about tackling imbalances in the global economy, as the dollar
sell-off reverberates through financial markets.

Amid tumultuous trading, which sent the dollar to its lowest level in a
year against the euro in late trading on Friday and gave the FTSE its
worst day for three years, the IMF was working privately to exercise its
new powers to bring decision-makers together.

At the IMF's Spring Meetings last month, its managing director, Rodrigo
de Rato, was handed new responsibilities to carry out 'multilateral
surveillance', assembling groups of relevant countries to discuss critical
issues in the global economy. With the long-predicted dollar bear
market sending ripples throughout the world, the IMF is keen to use its
powers as soon as possible.

Analysts believe the weakening of the dollar is the beginning of a
long-awaited readjustment in the global economy. After the Federal Reserve
appeared to hint last week that it could pause in its series of
interest rate rises, attention in the markets switched to the weaknesses of
the US economy.

David Bloom, currency strategist at HSBC, described the switch of focus
as a 'regime change'. 'I'm saying don't use the philosophical
methodology you used last year: chuck it away. The market has wholesale changed
the way it looks at the world,' he said, predicting that the euro could
rise to $1.40 over the next 12 months, from its current level close to
$1.29.

Few analysts expect IMF discussions to result in a concerted deal on
stemming the dollar sell-off; but governments and central banks will want
to avoid a crisis.

'We are in meltdown mode,' said David Brown, chief European economist
at Bear Stearns. 'It's all being whipped up into a bit of a selling
frenzy. The dollar has a massive portfolio of negatives against it: it's
the long-term problems of the trade deficit, and the government's budget
deficit.'

Bloom warned that 'phase two' of a sell-off would cause turmoil in the
equity markets, as on Friday, when both the Dow Jones and FTSE saw
sharp losses. 'I'm expecting an increase in volatility and uncertainty
across the board,' he said.

Brown added that the dollar's woes were likely to be exacerbated by
central banks shifting their reserves towards other currencies, including
the euro. 'Asian central banks have been buying fistfuls of dollars as
the flipside of their massive current account surpluses. They're long
dollars.'

He added that with the US current account deficit with the rest of the
world worth 7 per cent of its GDP in 2005, the White House and the
Federal Reserve would probably be happy to watch the dollar decline. 'I
don't think Washington's going to be concerned,' he said.

Cape Town - City turned into war zone

May 17 2006 at 07:18AM

By Caryn Dolley, Andy Shlensky and Melanie Gosling

Hundreds of striking security guards went on the rampage through the city centre on Tuesday, smashing shop windows, looting goods, trashing cars and overturning street-vendors' stalls.

Police fired rubber bullets and stun grenades into the mob and arrested two union leaders after they had lost control of the 5 000 South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu) members who were marching to parliament.

Thirty eight people were arrested for public violence and one for contravening the Public Gathering Act and will appear in Cape Town magistrate's court on Wednesday, according to police spokesperson Randall Stoffels.
