If a family man had possessed perfect foresight about Hitler and all the terrible things he was about to do if he was not stopped, and that man did not do all he could to prevent it because he did not want to disrupt his own private life, would that man have shared in Hitler's guilt?

If a man had known in advance about 9/11 and not done all he could to warn the people in the Twin Towers, would that man have shared in the guilt of the hijackers?

If a man had known ahead of time about the terrible tsunami of December 26 2004 and not done all he could to warn people in advance, would he have been partly responsible for the people who died in that disaster?
