Fed could give clues on first interest rate hike

Fed policymakers' median interest-rate forecast last month was consistent with an initial increase occurring in September. Recent weak economic data for the first quarter have only solidified expectations that officials won't pull the trigger until then, or possibly even later. The Fed's benchmark rate has been near zero since the 2008 financial crisis.
