guys,i've got a link from pravda.it says saddam is not appealing for a pardon against the death sentence,but for the replacement of the gallows by a firing squad instead.we will see how long the appeals court will take to consider his appeal,december 5 is the appeals deadline.after the appeals court makes the final decision for him,he will be sentenced within 30 days.it may not take a long time for the court to decide whether or not to give him the firing squad,because it's not an appeal to reverse the guilty verdict,but just to change the method of death sentence.we shall see if the iraqi high tribunal allows it,and iraqi pm maliki expects the execution by the end of this year.don't jump to conclusions thinking it will happen yet,let time speak for itself,as it is short now.only make or break,is on the line now.
