Yes he was shot at the time of the hanging. I was there and saw it happen. I have the video to prove it and Gman was absolutely correct.

Just watched the last part of a program about Israel and the Iran nuclear threat on norwegian tv. The israeli general said that they assumed that iran would accomplish to make nuclear weapon within the summer of 2007 and that they would NOT sit quietly and wait for it to happen. He said they would go in and bomb all irans nuclear facilities and that they had detailed plans for such an operation. There were however a few who feared the reaction in the muslim world after such an attack, while more israelies feared for their safety if they did not react.
