Events seem to be aligning exactly as Gaiaman predicted for the Saddam execution aftermath. First, two brief snippets of Gaiaman's visions on this from May 2005:

"He will refuse the Blindfold, and will die as a Martyr. This will be in mid or late 2006 and start the Great War."

"For Iraq I see only 1 important place. THE HIDDEN PORTAL! Desperate searching, late discovery. The war will last. From there the American boy, will cross the border to Syria. They will be attacked in the back from Iran. The other Great War then will start, and go over the planet. It will reach Europe and USA."

President Bush: "Succeeding in Iraq also requires defending its territorial integrity and stabilizing the region in the face of extremist challenges. This begins with addressing Iran and Syria. These two regimes are allowing terrorists and insurgents to use their territory to move in and out of Iraq. Iran is providing material support for attacks on American troops. We will disrupt the attacks on our forces. We will interrupt the flow of support from Iran and Syria. And we will seek out and destroy the networks providing advanced weaponry and training to our enemies in Iraq.

"We're also taking other steps to bolster the security of Iraq and protect American interests in the Middle East. I recently ordered the deployment of an additional carrier strike group to the region. We will expand intelligence-sharing and deploy Patriot air defense systems to reassure our friends and allies. We will work with the governments of Turkey and Iraq to help them resolve problems along their border. And we will work with others to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons and dominating the region.

Hours after the President spoke, U.S. forces raided the Iranian consulate office in the northern Iraqi city of Arbil. The troops broke into the office, seized documents and computers and arrested five employees."

At this point, I'm rather convinced that these particular visions are accurate in the most important essentials. The big geopolitical alignments and events are currently happening exactly as he forecast. Also, it would seem rather pointless to debate whether the forecast events are good, bad, unwise, prudent or whatever, as pointless as debating whether an approaching tsunami should be welcomed or voted down, since it seems that the momentum and inertia of history have firmly fixed them in the future, except for the minor details of actual manifestation.

Gaiaman's focus has always been to warn us and to exhort us to prepare, whereas many of us have been looking at all this as a great spectator sport. If and when the US attacks Syria, and Iran attacks in Eastern Iraq as Gaiaman predicted - how willing are we to seriously believe and prepare for a Great War that is forecast to follow?

I ask this question without sarcasm, since I personally have varying levels of belief, concerning the later predictions of utter catastrophes and profoundly metaphysical occurrences.

And Gaiaman, if you're still following this thread, we're hoping you might offer some more visions, clarifications and advice to those of us who are now intently reading your archived predictions and comparing them to current world events.
