Didn't Gaia Man predict that Bush would be the president up to 2012? I wonder how this could be possibel.


This is very easy to imagine - and one doesn't have to be a Bush-hater or a Bush-lover to see it. Every time a nation is under life-threatening stress, whether real or imagined, elections are canceled and martial law usually prevails.

Here's a suggested scenario along the lines of Gaia Man's visions: The US and Iran go to war. Ahmadinejad kicks off a global jihad campaign, with massive terrorist attacks on the US and the Western powers. A man-made killer virus sweeps across the US, wiping out millions. In these circumstances, elections would be impossible and the least of anybody's concerns, as there is a complete breakdown in civil order. Martial law is declared and Bush remains in office to administer it.
