Do not underestimate relations between these countries.
They have the same goals and joined in tactics.
Russia will seek more confrontation with the West.
Tensions with Nato will grow.

Together Russia and China will play their role in the Middle-East. Its a Silent but huge role.
What happens in the Middle-East is part of their bigger future policy view.

In einem EU-internen Arbeitspapier sind die ersten Ergebnisse einer Beratergruppe dokumentiert, die "Pläne für die Ausgestaltung europäischer Innenpolitik über das Jahr 2009 hinaus" (also nach dem Auslaufen des Haager Programms) entwickeln soll. Einem unserer Informanten wurde nun in Brüssel Einblick in dieses noch streng vertrauliche Papier gewährt - und was er las, übertrifft die schlimmsten Befürchtungen. George Orwell, der Autor des bekannten Buches "1984", hätte manches davon gewiß nicht in seinen kühnsten Träumen geahnt!

Es geht bei den Überlegungen im wesentlichen um den Einsatz der neuen, mit RFID-Chips versehenen Ausweise, die die Bürger der EU in Zukunft bei allen möglichen Verrichtungen des täglichen Lebens vorzulegen hätten.

Wer an eine Tankstelle fährt, soll in ganz Europa nur noch dann Kraftstoff erhalten, wenn er sich zuvor mit Hilfe seines Ausweises auch legitimiert hat. Auf diese Weise kann exakt festgestellt werden, wer wo und wann getankt hat. Und ganz nebenbei wäre es auch noch möglich, z.B. deutsche Tankstellenkunden in ganz Europa bei ihrem Kraftstoffbezug mit den (europaweit mit am höchsten) deutschen Steuersätzen zu "erfreuen". Dem vom deutschen Fiskus immer stärker beklagten "Tanktourismus" (bei dem die Bürger nur von ihrem Recht Gebrauch machen, dort einzukaufen, wo es am preiswertesten ist) würde gewissermaßen nebenbei seine Basis entzogen....

"Ganz nebenbei" regen die Autoren des Papiers ebenfalls an, in einer ferneren Stufe auch Lebensmitteleinkäufe mit der zwangsweisen Ausweis-Vorlage zu verbinden. So könne man im Krisenfall "Hamsterkäufen wirksam begegnen und zugleich soziale Gerechtigkeit verwirklichen", schwadronieren die Autoren.

Dies vorweggeschickt, verwundert es nicht, wenn die Augen mancher EU-Experten in diesen Tagen nach Malaysia gerichtet sind, wo die seit einiger Zeit staatlich "subventionierten" Kraftstoffpreise ab sofort nur noch für Einheimische gelten sollen. Der "Einheimischenstatus" muß bei jedem Tanken mit Hilfe des Ausweises nachgewiesen werden, der ebenfalls bereits über einen RFID-Chip verfügt. Zur Zeit werden alle Tankstellen mit entsprechenden Lesegeräten ausgestattet. Doch in Malaysia werden nicht nur Kraftstoffe "subventioniert", sondern auch die Preise für etliche Grundnahrungsmittel. Dazu zählt auch Reis, der in letzter Zeit schneller teurer wurde als Benzin. Nicht nur in Brüssel gehen deshalb etliche Fachleute davon aus, daß das an den malaysischen Tankstellen eingeführte Identifikationssystem schon bald auf den Erwerb von Grundnahrungsmitteln ausgedehnt werden könnte!

Man kann von Malaysia lernen, werden manche Bürokraten und Politiker nicht nur in den EU-Amtsstuben denken. Wir finden das nicht - jede weitere Einschränkung der persönlichen Freiheit und Erweiterung der staatlichen Kontrollmöglichkeiten ist und bleibt in unseren Augen ein Gräuel!

Well Gaiaman, looks like you haven't been here since March, perhaps this is that time you mentioned when you finally leave us to our own intuition.

If you ever do visit again, I wanted to share with you a bit. I read the book Many Lives, Many Masters which is about reincarnation and after death experiences. It reflects a lot with what you say about portals and "writing in your book." It's fascinating and this way I now know how to access the same knowledge you were able to.

I don't feel I need to be afraid of the future anymore...
