Legalized Weed in my lifetime?
I love smoking weed. I don't smoke weed because it is illegal and my need to be a functional citizen of the land includes following the laws.

Do you think that weed will be decriminalized any time soon?

Why and/or why not?

Legalization will most likely will remain a states issue, but decriminalization could come as easy as changing its status to something lower than Schedule I, but then what would we do with all of those empty prison cells?

This is great for Cali, that isn't the state I live in however, although I've given it great thought.

If it works in Cali, should be a pretty steady cascade.

I think possibly within the next 10 years if California passes its bill to legalize it and it turns out well.

Re: Legalized Weed in my lifetime?
when I Arrive to NY, the major was David Dinkins and the city was a really example of a cosmopolitan, advance, educated, with people with relax open mind and tolerance.

You walk midtown at lunch time and everybody had their join and their sandwich on the parks, and gardens or even public branch. I even ask a police officer once and he told me: "well , if everybody smokes just pot there will be no problems around."

But then Guliani came with his stupid military style

Well since the american people will not doubt believe the propaganda and will elect some ultra rightwinger im sure all the ground gained will be lost.

We will need whole generations to die off before real change happens, you have too many people who think its a positive trait to "stick to your guns" even if you are wrong.

Few older people or politicans want to admit they have been wrong all this time about weed.

Check out this legal and non-UA tested "Nuclear Reactor" herbal product that can also be purchased at head shops, although it's more expensive there than ordering online--

the rule of law requires enforcement.
absence of enforcement= lawlessness- a suspension of law.

as systemic breakdown occurs you will find an absence of enforcement.

Yes, but to be a "upstanding citizen" I am that enforcement. So until the law is dispanded through the colapse of the government or leagly overturned I'll mostlike not smoke unless the law of the land changes.
