Cops won't usually carry a 9, the smallest is a 40, many carry 45's. I have a CCW and I can enter malls and stores as long as they aren't posted, no firearms. Secondly, many PI's and such are cleet certified(ex cops), which means, they're allowed more privileges than most. There was local mall, that had one door not posted, but the rest were, I went thru the one door that wasn't and that covers me. I refuse to be a target in a mall. Just face to face ask the guy, make sure you have others with you, for corroboration.

No actually when i went to file a report,the next day at the mall,i know the head security woman there(she transferred from another mall,Hooray 4 me....she actually took a report the same day it happened from the store cashier,I Showed her the video from my cell phone and this man/men...when she pulled back those tapes...never reported into security"which at this mall police/pi/or whatever...if your ccw is in view or your studing up on someone,you got to let them"the mall" know whats going on!

If he just has a CCW, he broke the law by allowing it to become unconcealed. Hell, in some states, just printing is cause to be arrested for failure to conceal. Sounds to me like a PI/detective, running a surveillance. Hint, they really hate they're photo's taken,lol. They consider it a failure to maintain cover.

I had an angel sitting on my shoulder or it was pure luck!Check out my moves...a worker came out that door,i walked right on in...like i owned the place went through the tunnels and got the hell out of there! Yes,they have...which scares me..i went to internal affairs and showed him the video the next day,before i made the report to the mall security.He looked and told me,it was none of his guys and he would make a report.So i'm still scared to who these guys might be...and what about our cars...because the day at the mall...i told you danny our cousin was sitting in my cadillac and none of them was around my car,but he"danny"said they were surounding the doors to the front entrance and we needed to get the hell out of there! Because me,my hubby,and danny had cell phones just like they did!

I'm telling you, it was a PI that was hired for Store security and undercover shoplift investigation. I used to be a Store Detective.

IF, and ONLY IF, you lawsuit claims you're injured and have become disabled because of the incident you're suing over - the defense might well hire a PI or two to follow you and see how well you get around, how much you walk or don't walk. Can they get you on Video playing tennis, or skate boarding or surfing? If so, then claiming you are disabled is harder and harder to do. Often times an insurance company who may be on the hook for paying off if you win the lawsuit will hire crappy PI's to follow you around and video your every move. Usually they're cut rate PI's and none too subtle about what they're doing. The idea is to make you paranoid so you'll take a settlement offer at the last minute which will be far less than you'd get if you win the court battle. They're evil assholes and do this kind of crap all the time!

Fuck them! Just stand up for yourself and don't do anything to strenuous where you can be seen doing it.

I know a guy who was suing for a broken back and being partially paralyzed. The got him on tape in a gym working out. But in court, it turns out the guy that is with him is the trainer the Insurance company had hired to help the guy get back into shape after surgery had left him in a wheelchair. When the defense introduced this "evidence" in court, the injured guys lawyers told the court just who his trainer was - it was his physiotherapist the insurance company hired and was paying for the PT. They all looked so incredibly stupid it wasn't funny. The injured guy won and collected like seventeen or eighteen million dollars. Bad or obvious PI's can be your best friend if their behavior gets too far out of line. It becomes Harassment. S

They aren't supposed to do that. If they flash the gun, that is 3rd degree assault. If they flash the badge, The cover is blown. Nothing more.

Yeah. Private Detectives hired by your opponent's attorney. They will be watching you until the investigation is complete or they have enough evidence to refute your claim. 100K is a lot to sue for. They are going to try and refute it. You WILL be photographed and possibly filmed.
