Of course "scientists" had to quickly adjust the flow rate after bumbling BP/FAT Allen, tells media they are recovering 16,000 barrels a day! What a bunch of retards! No one believes anything anymore.

40000 barrels/day is just shy of 8 exxon Valdezeses
it is estimated upwards of 4 million gallons/day after the top was cut off, and the cap ain't capturing JACK, so that puts an exxon valdez into the gulf every 3 days so maybe 2 (low ball) so far since the 3rd when they chopped the beasts head off, and puts my calculations at 10-10 1/2 exxon valdeses in my head which corresponds to my post of a visual estimate of the spill at 66 million gallons before June. SO I would hazzard a guess now of 100 million gallons oil which is the total minus 1/5 gas. I guess the pressure from the mock blowout will have been reduced enough soon that they can go ahead with the pre-planned relief tubes and capture the oil they couldn't get until they let the pressure off so they could manage it. :)
