Dreams, Astral and Remote Viewing
ok I see a few threads about this stuff and thought I would lend a hand to help people to understand these things more clearly and not mix them up as I've seen many have. HERE WE GO. First definitions in MY SIMPLE TERMS ( no fancy words )

Dream: You know, you go to sleep. Your imagination runs wild and you visualize and experience in an imaginary world/setting. Some dreams are created from things you have done during the day, thoughts or worries you may be feeling, influence from television/books or movies and some dreams are even more than that. Some people have telepathic dreams. Some people see loved ones that have passed in dreams. Some dreams are symbolic and indeed have meanings/messeges. It can be difficult to figure out sometimes. Everyone dreams. If you think you don't you're WRONG. You just need to LEARN how to remember.

Lucid Dream: Pretty much still a dream with all the same possibilities. The ONLY difference is that you're AWARE you are dreaming. You know this isn't reality and therefore you actually can MINIPULATE/CONTROL or alter your dream. Instead of just being the passenger you become the DRIVER. This is a very good skill to have if you ever plan on astral projecting or getting information/requests from dreams.

Astral Travel/Projection: This 'technique' is a comlpicated one to explain as many people have different views on what AT really is. Some people think it's a dream where you fly and explore. Some people think you're fully awake and hover above your body like an OBE ( outter body experience ). Some and most people mix this up with lucid dreaming and it can be very confusing. I personally describe it like this ..... you're actually caught between being awake and asleep. You do float/fly and you do leave your body---spiritually. Some people visualize an imbilical cord, some people don't. This technique involves DEEP relaxation and focus. There is no ONE WAY technique either. There are many different ways to get to astral which again can be confusing or overwhelming. I suggest you to research and try them all to see which technique helps you personally. I'll tell you later how I do it. I use two types.

Remote Viewing: This technique is the hardest to master for most people. Myself included. The reason for this is because most of us have noisy minds and you need to have a cleared head to do this one. Basicly RV is a TOOL used, even by the military, to get information in 'real time' by spying with the mind. You're not dreaming and your not having an OBE. It's all in your mind. You visualize in your mind.

ok.... I better post this and I'll return with details on the techniques.

Re: Dreams, Astral and Remote Viewing
HOW TO/TECHNIQUES:

REMOTE VIEWING:

1) Focus on your 'TARGET'. Whether it's a place or person and ONLY that.

2) Clear your mind. Don't think. Try not to pretend or imagine. Focus on the 'nothingness' the black/blank space.

3) Focus on target again. Just see it in your mind then let it go. Go blank again. DON'T TRY AND FORCE A PICTURE it will only be your IMAGINATION.

4) Repeat these steps as much as you want, especially if you find your mind is getting 'off topic'. This's harder than it sounds.

5) If successful, you will see something while you're tuned into the blank/black spaces of your mind. A picture? A number? .... WRITE IT DOWN.

6) Relax. You can try again for more information or just take a break and try to figure out what you saw and what it means regarding to your target. I advice you just take a break. Ignore what u saw for now as it could falsly influence your next RV. That's why I suggest you write it down....save it for later.

7) Whenever you're ready, preferably after a good rest/break .... try steps 1-5 again. Goodluck.

Re: Dreams, Astral and Remote Viewing
HOW TO/TECHNIQUES:

LUCID DREAMING:

First. You need to train yourself to remember how to remember your dreams. You can start doing this by actually telling yourself to remember before you go to sleep. Don't over pressure yourself, just ask and you shall recieve. Once you wake up...write your dream down. Whatever you remember. As you start writing you might even remember more detail. Write it down. Keep trying this on a regular basis until you can actually remember through the day about your dream as if it actually happened. What might help to is after you write your dreams down think about them more. Re fantasize about them. During the day if you have time remember your dream again and if you want, day dream about it, add a few pretend things that you wished you dreamed about. Kind of like adding a new chapter to the story. No one needs to know -hehe-

Now, if you're remembering your dreams - you can start to try LUCID DREAMING. There's no steps yet until you're sleeping ..... just tell yourself to dream and to remember. Now, go to sleep.

YOUR DREAMING.

It's hard to explain but while you're dreaming you already know you're dreaming your just having a hard time 'letting go'. Try and be aware of it. You can 'feel' this just isn't right. The air, your breathing. Everything around you. Things are changing. Who are these people? Whatever's going on .... you know already IT"S A DREAM. Try and accept it without waking up. Some people accidently wakeup the first time they realise they're in a dream and attempt to 'play'. Whatever you do don't think about waking up or you will LOL. It's kinda tough at first because our minds are so powerful. OK....you're dreaming. You know you are. Now try this .... lightly jump UP, tell yourself you're gonna levitate or float 4 feet. Do it. It's incredible and sooooo easy. If you do this you can do anything. Try to go higher....higher.... you can do this through the whole dream if you want. Don't be afraid to teach anyone else in your dream to try too. You know, the other character's you may have in your dream. If no one's there. You can either look for someone or if you're really ready try and THINK someone to show up. If you do that and it worx...you've successfully LUCIDED 100 % actually, if you're levitating or doing anything in a dream at will and awareness you're LUCID dreaming -yay! There's so much you can do with Lucid dreaming once you know how. This levitation thing is only my suggestion for beginners. You don't have to try it. You can try anything you desire. I just find the levitation the easiest and most inspiring/rememberable lucid trick to try.

FUTURE LUCIDS:

Once you've mastered lucid you have NO LIMITS. You can turn bicycles into cars and alter your own appearance. Anything your imagination wants AND you'll remember :)
Later on you can actually start demanding information and/or what dreams to have. You can even turn the dream completely on or off like a remote control too ... I just learned how to do that myself :) However, I wont go into detail about all these Lucid tricks right now as there's too much to tell, virtually neverending. This post was just meant to help you 'get there' once you're there you WILL discover your own stuff. Even stuff others may not know or have tried. HAVE FUN.

When I make an astral projection, I am still aware of my lying body but I get the senses or experiences of another place I decided to go to. It's like you feel yourself as watching from above but you can immediately decide to feel again your body, in which case it's the end of your projection.

HOW TO/TECHNIQUES:

Astral Travel/Projection:

Honestly I don't know where to start on this one LOL There's no magic steps. There are so many different ways to do this. I recommend you research and try the many techniques people have used to see what works for you ok :) Don't be discouraged. You can do this. Don't give up. BABY STEPS :)

Anyway, like I said there's no ONE way to do this. However I'll share with you how I've done it :)

First, I'll confess I've tried the so called training tapes/subliminal cds... I had no success. However, there are a few things in them that I actually used in my OWN attempts. That being the meditation/relaxing and focusing on your body. REMEMBER...just because these 'COURSES' didn't work on me it doesn't mean they won't work on you so try them if you want. You might have better luck then I did.

In the beginning I use to do this. Relax. No sound, no destraction. No lights. Just me in the dark in bed, ALONE. Find a relaxing position. If you're uncomfortable it wont work. Ok...here we goooo...... relax, breathe nice soft...deep breaths. ahhhhh feel yourself getting sleepy. feel the awe of it. Feel how your body sinks into your bed...hmmmmmm kinda feels like you feel your SOUL. Focus on that. Makes you feel good. The breathing seems to be getting effortless huh. You almost can't feel anything just awe and a bit of tiredness. Don't Fall asleep! LOL lay there. do nothing. think nothing. you feel as if you might snore that horrible snore you get when your half asleep half awake LOL it's ok, go with it. Don't fall asleep tho! LOL .... I know, it's hard. OK.... keep laying there, do you know what adrenolin is? Do you know that special tingly feeling? Do you know how to 'make yourself' get that tingly feeling?
Let me put it this way....do you know that sensation you get when you're aroused? That eewy gooy tingly sparky stimulating adrenilin feeling? Can you make yourself feel that? Try it.....get all goosebumpy and tingly.....u know you can....do it. Woah! makes you wanna pee LOL .... sounds incredibly funny but TRUST ME OK. After you do this try and relax again....awe feel the awe....you're getting super tired and kinda horny LOL ... OK, now relax deeper try and tingle again but this time stop the tingle before it gets too tingly LOL..... OMG EH, ok ..... now relax again. breathe.....almost let yourself fall asleep....get real close....feel the PULL of it. Feel yourself 'falling......falling......now, breath deep.... falling.......now imagine yourself getting up,sitting up. Don't do it though. FEEL IT. Feel it like you felt those tingly's just before. In your mind pretend to sit up in bed. You know it's just pretend and THATS OK. You're actually just programing your subconcious right now. So pretend and feel away. Feel your body through your mind. Feel...feel...feel. Imagine your soul floating, pushing, escaping from you. Imagine how it would feel. Keep your eyes closed. Picture your room in your head. Your dresser, your shelves...whatever. If you want you can have a quick peek----open your eyes, find these objects in the shadows and close your eyes again. Keep doing this until you get sleepier---until you lose interest---until you almost 4get what you're doing.....until you almost fall asleep....falling....falling....fight it a little, not alot----just a little. You're thinking of giving up, wanting to sleep.....stay awake....just a bit longer......falling....falling....you've had enuff.....ok tell yourself this really quick then let it goooo..... FAWK IT! I'm tired I wanna gooooooo......then stop thinking, think nothing....relax.....no thought...... you might fall asleep...go with it......you might not, go with that too.....just don't think. NOW, if you fall asleep it's ok. Try again another time. Here's what's really confusing....if you don't fall asleep you might think you DID fall asleep LOL. A lot like LUCID dreaming you might think you're dreaming about what you were doing before bed and not actually ASTRALLING. This's why people confuse the two. But you know what....who cares...go with it. If you think your dreaming a lucid well...you know what to do... try to float again, try to fly, hover, try to imagine seeing yourself sleeping and you above looking down. Does it feel different than any lucid dream you've ever had? hmmmm .... does it kinda feel like that feeling you get when you're semi sleeping/awake and you think your gonna fall, then your body jerks and you realize your ok? Do you almost feel like you might just float away and get lost forever? Does a part of you desire to float away? Are you scared? Doesn't feel like a dream but doesn't feel real either does it. You're thinking It can't be real....ok if it's not real then you should be ok---right? Why not just GO WITH IT? Let go. This isn't stupid, it's just you. No one will know. Let go. You've done this in your lucid dreams a thousand times and that was ok so why not try this HERE? Feel your soul/mind/spirit float, fly, explore. Are you still in your room? Do you see your dresser? Try and move towards it. Touch it. What happened? LOL don't panic. Do you dare go outside? Try it.....remember, don't be scared....if you do you will come soaring back to your body or feel as if you WOKE UP from an intense lucid dream. You'll probably 'come back' or wake up, if that's what you want to call it. But I don't think you were dreaming. You were astralling my friend LOL It's ok if you don't believe but if you try this again and get further.....you might realise too. What happened when you supposedly 'woke up'? what did you feel? Vibrations? Electrical sensations? How did your body feel? Heart racing? Can you move? Now you tell me.....was this JUST a dream or did something really happen?

We all Dream and we all astral. It's just learning to remember and believe that's the problem. Children are very good at this because they still have open minds where as we adults are closed and stubborn, full of pride. We put away our childish things and became so serious and out of tune. STOP IT!

HOW TO/TECHNIQUES:

"Faster/Easier access to Lucid and Astral" -yay!

Once you've mastered Lucid and accomplished atleast 3 astrals you can actually minipulate and get there faster :)

It's as simple as being a little boy or girl believing :)

LUCID:

You know the reutine. Turn off the lights and go to bed. Now, you wanna have a lucid dream? OK. Tell yourself this ..... "ahhh tonight I want to dream about ________." Then close your eyes and go to sleep. If you truly mastered remembering and lucid dreaming it's as simple as this now. You know it is :)

ASTRAL:

Lights off. Coveres covering. Ahhhh. Relaxing. Almost falling right away, clearing the mind, deep breath, a little snuggle in the pillow, letting go .... feeling both heavy and light, feeling your spiritual self and your body, seperating the feelings of your spirit and body, focus on spirit, letting go...........gone. You know what to do from here :)

I hope I helped you today. Feel free to comment or share. I would love to hear your experiences too.

DREAM DICTIONARY 1 - for those crazy dreams we just don't understand LOL

[link to www.dreammoods.com]

I sometimes look stuff up when I have a weird dream. Especially if it's a dream NO WAY related to anything I've done/seen or read that day. Just a weird 'vivid' bizarre dream. I don't know what to think about these dictionaries. Most say the same things where some say something entirely different. It's still interesting though -- makes you think :)

Re: Dreams, Astral and Remote Viewing
I have lucid dreamed a few times. I've also done astral projection. The best techique is the (WBTB) wake back to bed technique.

If you google the WBTB techique it gives you it all at the top. This is the only real AP technique that is reliable. All frequent APers do it.
