Mandate from Congress ignored, National Clean Water Act of 1973
Ever wonder what is really wrong with the EPA? Congress gave a mandate that wastewater was to be cleaned at the source in 10 yrs. That means every building and house in the country. The technology was available in the late '60's. Every municipal utility wastewater plant is operating in non-compliance with a federal mandate. A company in Arizona has the patented technology and operating systems around the world, that have been tested and proven to work. The owner has been put in jail and harassed. Judges will not file his legal indictments of the criminally corrupt utility districts. Here is a link to his site... [link to www.reclamator.com] His court case documents are there. He needs public help to save our water. Please visit his site and investigate this yourselves. I just learned about this on talkshoe. Someone please pin this as it has huge implications. If Obummer wants health care let him start here.

Maybe it will take some time for people to read up on this but please pin this. 50% of local funding that is used for enterprise corruption comes from wastewater bungling. They are poisoning our water and ruining the planet by holding back the technology.

The Clean water Act was sign in 1973. In 10 yrs. we were supposed to be cleaning all our wastewater before it ever left our property. I'm sure you're aware that the space shuttle has a device that cleans their wastewater so they can use it again. Its not hard or expensive. The Reclamator can do the average house for 20 cents a day.

You can have all the health care you want but without clean water it won't help.

Think about this, the day after the clean water act was signed they created the EPA and completely blocked implementation of the act.

I feel stupid, I didn't even know that!! Yes, the tech has been around for DECADES.

Of course, they need your water taxes and cash to pay the bill so it will never happen!

nice post

They constantly pass laws that cannot be enforced and constantly pass another law to counter the one they just passed.. its all a game.

It is the Executive branch and the Judical branch jobs to Enforce the laws.. both so often seen the written in non-enforcability that comes out of the laws that Congress passes...

There ought to be a law, that there will be no new laws or amendments to current laws for the next 25 years... perhaps that would be enough time for people to really get to know exactly what all the current laws mean, how to 'attempt' to obey them, now to attempt to enforce them... But no, the laws seem to be changing nearly every six months now..

The EPA was created the next day?

True?

It must have been in the blueprint as option X in case we just might get clean water.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or sometimes USEPA) is an agency of the federal government of the United States charged with protecting human health and the environment, by writing and enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress. The EPA was proposed by President Richard Nixon and began operation on December 2, 1970, Sorry must have been loose talk I heard. It was already there to enforce what congress mandated, somehow they missed the important part.
