Some of the seals we've seen play out for a long time, like with war and famine. But I have yet to see (or read in history) of this seal being opened. Did I miss it? I know we've had major earthquakes in history, but did any of them make the sun blacken and the moon redden?

Yeah, but my question is about the seven seals that come before the trumpets. Like many, that oil spill reminded me of Revelations, so I've been studying it. I don't fully understand the seven seals, but a massive earthquake like the one described in the seven seals, is something that would be glaring. If we are already past the seven seals, how did I miss that is all I'm wondering.

I'm not saying you're wrong, just trying to understand. From what I've been studying, your post is describing what will happen to the sea after the mountain (what I interpret as a comet) is thrown into the sea.

Anyone know of any EQ like that described in the 6th seal?

The mountain isn't a comet...it is literally the oil rig ("and something LIKE a mountain") set a flame...which sank (thrown into the ocean). I don't know about you but if I was having visions and didn't know what an oil rig was I would view it as being very large and mountain like...Also it errupted like a volcano...

Revelations is a mysterious book and who knows if the seals come before the trumpets in actuallity, at the same time, etc...

Scientists have already warned that the oil spill will eventually reach europe and the artic, which would fit the description of 1/3 of the sea...

This oil spill won't stop anytime soon...

The burning of the oil with sea life in the Gulf could be fire mingled with blood. The toxic rain causing the grass and trees to be burned up.
