How are you supposed to affect change when the media just reports whatever it wants and the government does whatever it wants at the federal level irrespective of the people? Thank goodness for states rights. |

However, the literal physical safety of the people there demands that action be taken on their behalf. The Illegals have ruined it for the legals. The legals have a right to be angry-- but they should be angry at the ones who have made such a law necessary through their violent acts and their aggression. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 994775I've got news for you: there is just as much corruption at the state level as there is at the Federal level. The thing is, the same type of people that run for Federal offices are the same type of people that run for state offices. People generally run for two reasons: to make a change in their communities or to gain POWER. The problem is that the people who run for power are generally more cunning and ruthless than those who run to make a change, and therefore generally get elected more often. This isn't to say that the state governments can't ever do good things, but anytime I hear all this Federal vs. state bullshit, like we are living in the 1860's, I have to roll my eyes. |

We have been married for 3 years. It was almost impossible to get a visa for my wife. Now that we have it, if we come and visit the states to often they threaten to take it away. The immigration laws are a bunch of BS. If I sneak her into the country I stand a better chance of getting her a green card or citizen ship then trying to do it through legal immigration. The whole system is so retarded. Feed Up in Thailand. |

So how hard is it for an American to get legal immigrant status in Thailand? its all about the money. easy to stay here but hard to get citizenship. but for me thats not the issue. The issue for me is that illegal immigration is easy in the US but if you try to get your fucking wife for chists sake a green card its dam near imposible unles you have money. its all about the money. And thats bulll shit. They are so worried that my wife is only interested in me for citizenship and that they might have to give her assistance if she leaves me once she is here. just look at the amount of asssistance illegals are getting . What a fucking joke. |
