Honestly, if I was an agency I would want to keep forums and groups going, not shut them down. I have seen some things said here and on some other groups that would raise suspicions. I think Trinity even made a warning topic one time telling people not to make any threats against anyone.
It's far easier to monitor a bunch of people from one desk than to send individual agents in vehicles with sophisticated equipment to monitor people at their respective locations. Of course I imagine that still happens if someone appears to be a real concern.
