Oil Found Inside Oyster Served at North Carolina Restaurant--6-20-10

AKE NORMAN, N.C. - A customer at Vinnie's Raw Bar at Lake Norman says he found oil inside the oyster he was eating.

Matthew Robertson says he was eating oysters with dinner at Vinnie's Raw Bar at Lake Norman when he found oil inside the oyster.

"They looked fine, just regular, but then as the soon as they opened, you know, it's just they got on my hands, the black stuff, and it was a kind of on, a little bit on, as you can see, right here. It was just a little bit on the meat." Robertson said.

The restaurant's manager confirmed the customer's story and says he's had problems getting oyster shipments because of possible contamination from the oil spill.
