There´s nothing there

I think there is no doubt that the ´antenna´ on top and weird bulge underneath are not just blurring of the opposite wing or body. If you look closely you will see that there is a strange pod attached to the underside of the wing. What ever this plane is I think I can safely say it is not a commercial plane.

Nm, Found it. Dunno what it is really, looks like a jet I´d be worried about tho!

That is not a military plane, but a EMB-120 Brazilia

Hey cool. That´s a pretty good identification if you are correct. I will check it out. Do you think that the thing I photographed has an antenna on top or do you believe it is the opposite wing?

It looks like the left wing just blurry from the speed. The dark areas you see are the turboprop engine nacelles and the lighter color is the actual wing. Usually Brazilias wings are silver metalic and not painted. That would explain the "blurry" look.

Brazilias are very fast and extremely quiet aircraft. They are used extensively here in the US and are just now being flown wide-spread in Europe.

Once I saw your photo, I recognized it immediately. The nose and t-tail and unique tail strakes give it a very unique signature.

Oh, that´s just an XF-227 "Supershrike." Nice plane. Mach 3.5. Stealth. I guess you can´t fly it around without somebody taking a picture of it. Still, it´s currently SECRET, so please don´t look at the photo anymore. Thank you.

Not awesome (small plane), not unknown (EMB-120 Brazilia civilian turboprop), not military, no pod (just opposite wing tip). Nothing really.

Thanks for all the emails to my site about this. The opinion seems to be that it is an EMBRAER EMB. Now the thing that is so unusual is the antenna on to and the bulge underneath. I have been sent a picture of the US army Surveilence EMB which I have just posted. If you will note the Miliatary configuration for this plane CLEARLY has an antenna on top and weird bulge underneath.

All you yawning people out there problably need to get some sleep, they do say it is good for the brain.

go there and see the Military Surveilance Models of the Embraer. Notice how my photo matches the ´both´ the configurations with top antenna and underneath camera units. Is it a hybrid version I saw?
