Quoting: DAUNTLESSNo, I had not heard of him, thanks, looking for info now. He works on the archeological aspect and ties it to Vedic systems of belief. Very good stuff! I cannot get the idea of a gymnosophist out of my mind since I have watched this vid. It would be a very interesting life to lead. What do you think he meant at the end when he was talking about the gods having many eyes but we only have two? Independent Thought Dauntless Mind Unconditional Love |

I'm not sure what he meant with that yet. I may have to watch the last five minutes again to get a better feel in the context he was using it in. Maybe it's something along the line that as gods, they are unburdened by physical barriers and have better understanding than us who are here in the physical? They "see" more. I like the pysical barriers idea. That is kinda what I was thinking. I feel he meant that they see "all", where we can only see with our two but can see the same love/beauty/light that the Gods also see. Independent Thought Dauntless Mind Unconditional Love |

I went to sit in it while my friend went looking elsewhere. While I was sitting I noticed that there was no sound, only feeling. Within those five minutes I felt closer to God/the source/the oneness/zero than I ever had in my life. There was a majestic beauty about the silence. A few years ago I was sitting out on my small balcony waiting for my bf to come for dinner. All of a sudden it got quiet and the downtown traffic and city noise faded away and the wind started to blow softly at first and then picked up slightly. It was like the sound through the trees was talking to me. The feeling came with it that ALL is ONE. All things are part of it. It was the most calm, beautiful experience I have ever had.
