Dominance of one small power group, who hang on through oil, is made powerless (haha, on so many levels) by creating an abundance of something else. Something cheaper, and easier to get. Something cleaner too.

Makes the access to power cheaper, lifts the whole world's population out of the dirt, pulling us all up a level in our standards of living, pulling us together into a more level playing field.

That in itself will create tensions between the 'old' haves, who will become the have nots. It's all through history, and we are littered with the wreckage of those who were in power, only to fall to another.

This bullshit about shale oils and tar sand oils being the way forward is tripe.

The amount of gases being released globally cant be covered up with frack wells.

Poisoning the planet with this cocktail, designed to stem the flow isn't working either. It's just hurting those who inhabit the area with poor quality water and connectivity to the planet.

We're seeing a struggle to keep control. They're losing.

We're seeing a change of the guard, and they're winning.

But it doesn't seem to be playing out like the old days. Something new is in the air. New thinking, new ways.

Watching Hunger Games, and quietly laughing at how ridiculous the TV coverage is, is in reality exactly what our day to day news coverage and exposure to TV is in the West, if you compare it to only 10-20 years back. They're getting desperate to hold on.
