Posted Dec 3, 2018 at 4:49 PM Updated Dec 3, 2018 at 4:49 PM EGLIN AFB — The Air Force will conduct air-to-ground munitions releases in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, according to a Monday news release from the 96th Test Wing. The munitions releases are scheduled from 8 a.m.-noon Tuesday and Wednesday in an area of the Gulf approximately 75 miles south of Destin, according to the 96th Test Wing’s announcement. All vessels are required to remain clear of the active hazard area during the times that testing is scheduled. Advisories and a local notice to mariners will be broadcast on Channel 16 and on HF upper sideband 2182 kHz by the Eglin Joint Test and Training Operations Control Center.
