Further Nipple development is a hang over from the small fact we all start out as female in the womb.

They are no longer considered an evolutionary hang-over, instead they are understood to be part of the development cycle of the fetus which is somewhat different than the evolutionary process of a species.

Most likely their 'use' is a hang over from a time when both male and female could produce milk to feed our young. Thus in part they are an evolutionary hang-over in that they can be 'used' as lactating glands.

Non-pregnant women also can lactate 'spontaneously' this strongly suggests that as a species we are all able to produce milk (or were able) to ensure the survival of our species.

However we humans have been able to produce more food and insure that mother eats enough to feed the offspring, thus the need for the male to lactate and for other females in our tribe to lactate to provide enough milk is 'dying out'.

I think you were well meaning with this post but its so wrong i had to step in.

The chromosomes dont develop, you inherit them from the haploid cells (sperm/egg) of your mother and father, and they are produced in the bodies sexual organs by a process called meiosis; which is similar to regular cell division, but differs in that they only contain half as many chromosomes and its a process that creates randomness in the genetic material.

When a sperm fertilizes an egg, the 23 chromosomes of the sperm and 23 of the egg fuse to create the 46 needed for the blueprint of making a human.

Males only carry a Y chromosome, if the sperm that fertilizes the egg is carrying a Y chromosome the child is male(XY).

If its carrying an X chromosome its female.(XX)

The gallbladder stores bile, and the appendix stores beneficial bacterium in order to repopulate the stomach and colon if we get cholera or some other illness which causes rapid evacuation of the digestive tract.
