Oh, thats right, I won't need my guns because the government and the greedy have taken away all that is precious to me. The bees are going. The bats have fungus. Swine flu was another vaccine we sure needed. The oil spilling is under control. The weather is just fine. The borders are open for votes. All is soooo good that I don't need a gun anymore. Why worry about someone breaking into my home when they are breaking into my country & my government welcomes it?

They caught an illegal, a murderer next door. His gun killed someone. The police damaged my home & scared me & my family like you wouldn't believe...but my guns are for target practice. So my guns should be taken away from me?

I've been in self defense situations before. Those of us who have REALLY been in those situations are quiet about them. I understand the need for personal firearm ownership and training to use said tools.

Go ahead and tell your tale, I imagine its been told before. I can promise it wont be ground breaking. Please don't inadvertently give 2A supporters a bad name in the process though.

Guns are not my hope...guns are my right. I have never had to use one on a person, but I have had them used on me...so if you never have, maybe you should think of what you are saying to me...me who only likes to target practice, but has felt a bit of hell at the tip of someone elses gun!

What good is having a firearm when they can make ammo impossibly expensive? Sure you can have an entire armory but without ammo you're better off with a sling shot. There are restrictions on how much powder you can purchase already-that alone limits you on how much ammo you can produce if you have the equipment to do so. So they can still have gun control buy restricting how much ammo you can buy, how much powder you can buy, by making ammo extremely expensive (something like $10 to $20 a round) and then having you fingerprinted (LosAngeles county) for every ammo purchase you make. In time, they can legislate the need to keep a national database of ammo purchasers which might just land you into an FBI/DSH favorites list.

So, no one can celebrate yet until this guarantees not just the fundamental right (2nd Ammendment) to bear arms but regular access to ammunition as well. I think that's how they are going to get us.

I am afraid you may be right. So that leaves us screwed. Unless we figure out something they have not thought of yet. Inventions needed now. People need to get to thinking again. And not to sell out.

Someone posted " call the police I you have a problem". The problem is what if the police and in general, the government (local, state or federal) believe they are "the law" and they superceede the Constitution? What then? What if they believe that you, a citizen of the US, is obligated to be subservient to them and to serve them? Then they become the problem.
