The Earthquake 4.2 in France is not normal i think!!!...and it was inly 2km deep!!!

But it is just me or the earthquakes are increasing!!??

I'm no expert and have no data, but from what I've heard so far there is nothing strange. Apart from the huuuuuge EQ in Chili. But even that was wasn't odd, just very rare.

Wow. I live in the southeast United States and I had a dream last night about a strong earthquake HERE.

to me, earth is entering a "growth flush" phase, with the sun exciting it, itself excited by a cosmic cloud it's passing thru. Remember the mayans said "earth will enter in movement" for 2012, and it's beginning, like a child whose tooth grow.

By the way, just 4 hours before eq in france, there was a 5.0 on the northern mid-atlantic ridge, quite in alignement with france eq, the ground is being compressed because the ridge pushes the ground toward europe. elementary dear watson :p

i'm in south brooklyn, ny.... my son and i were heading to dentist yesterday and saw a small thin patch of rainbow cloud... the weird thing is, the other clouds that were next to, above and below the rainbow patch were white.. we were looking south... i took pics with my cell but it's too weak to pick up the colors... it reminded me of those pre earthquake clouds.

the earth is being hit with a G1 class geomagnetic storm today. the earthquakes seem to increase when this is happening.

Upgraded to a 4.4(Foreshock) and with only 1km depth!!!

6.5 Magnitude Quake Hits Southern Mexico

MEXICO CITY -- A strong 6.5-magnitude earthquake rattled the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca Wednesday, and was felt at least as far away as Mexico City.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered in a sparsely populated, mountainous area of Oaxaca near the southern Pacific coast.

I guess they upgraded the Mexico quake from 6.3 to 6.5...

Maybe folks can stop talking about usgs downgrading EQ strenght, as they upgraded these :P.


There is indeed alot of movement today, probably caused by the suns outburst. Also some tension in Europe, the smaller quake this week in Germany, north of the alps, and now south of the alps. Looks like it's settled now, orrrrrrr not, no one can tell :)

Occasionally they throw in a Bone for Confusion's sake. And it is still underestimated.

After all these EQs, nothing for almost an hour!

Obviously something is not right.

Magnets still holding onto the refrigerator? If you don't have any on the frige put some on holding stuff up. LOTS of history of magnets losing their power near where the center of an EQ happens in the 30 minutes to 6 hours before it hits (only nead the epicenter though).

Also snakes tend to come out of their burrows as do many small earth dwelling creatures.

Finally extra static on the old AM radio? (most don't pay attention to static level so they really can't tell if there is more or not). This is based on the theory that as the rocks start to break the quartz resonates and produces little bits of radio static (same principal, but in the reverse, of an old crystal radio ... if you ever built one you know they do NOT need outside electricity to work)
