Folks I noticed years ago these Yankees suffer from what I'd call "South envy". It almost always manifest itself with angry tirades. Remember these northerners have the rust belt and the economy of many of their states is horrible not to mention their budget shortfalls. They are often angry because Southerners aren't self loathing douches like them {I am not speaking of all Yankees,some are fine but most are asshats} and they resent our lifestyle. I think Lynyrd Skynyrd aptly conveys our message to fellows like peter best and better than most of us could here.
