So they took out the generators and put in alternators. Other than changing the heads, taking out the carborator, and adding a thinner oil, and working out vaccuum kinks, it will work. Damn you glp. I know I put battery this time, I looked over it and corrected it! But I did misspell vacuum and carburetor. Sheesh! |

My physics/electricity knowledge is a bit rusty. Thx Sure. Most spark pacs or distributors shoot out 100,000 volts of electricity to your spark plugs. So the power for the solenoids is already there. A high voltage solenoid has a lot of torque, but not when it first begins its run. You put a heavier fly wheel on the front of the engine, and then have your starter start the car for you, you get a system going to where the solenoids build up inertia, and so much so, that you can actually control that power with a switch the way you would a gas pedal, as long as the base rpm remains at a high enough level. I suppose the transmission would have to be geared for a higher rpm as well. |

She didn't know anything about it. She said she didn't like watching the news and that she never did like it. I said, "Watching the news too much can become a bad habit, but don't you think you need to keep an eye on things for your own safety?" She said, "No." I said, "What if you have children in the future. Or the weather was bad, wouldn't you watch it then?" She said, "No, that would be my husband's job." As we passed a high school where they were building fences that made it look like a prison. I said that was not a good sign. And she asked why and I said that they won't stop there, they will build fences around everything to make people feel safer. She said, what's so bad about that? I said, "Once they take away your freedoms, they never give them back." She said, "But if it is to make us safe, what's so bad about it?" I said, "Well, you realize that's how the Nazi's started their campaign don't you?" She said, "I slept in history class. I hated history, almost as much as I hate watching news." I realized then that she needed some help. I said, "Look, not watching the news can get you hurt. Look at it this way. Let's say you gave a person a hundred dollars and put it in their hand and sent them into a store. Now, a person who looks around them and is somewhat cautious will see if someone tries to steal their money out of their hand. But a person who doesn't look around them will go up to the cashier and want to buy something that is meaningful and valuable to them, but too much of their money is missing to buy it. So wouldn't it be a good thing to be a more cautious person in that case?" She said, "Nope. I hate watching the news. I don't care about it. It's not me. It's not who I am. I never will watch the news." This woman is 20, and somewhat smart. But she has almost no wisdom in this area, and a deep trust of the government and authority. I realized that her real problem is that she doesn't want to grow up. She gets to remain a child if she is 'looked after' by others, by government and by God. Coming back home after dropping her off at work, I realized that this place we are in is nothing more than a place to make us grow up. And I realized that more doom is going to be necessary to make sure that happens. |
