Quoting: OPactually OP, that response is very intelligent. but....flip it back over.... would this metaphor not literally stunt the growth or degrade the quality of the whole crop? sorry if I seem ignorant, I believe that God is a metaphorical myth to control the masses. I watched my dad burn to death when I was 10. no God or Devil turned up that day. just a fire engine and a meat truck. Sorry. The true God is simply Nature - progressing forward.
