I tried going vegan (as I suspect you are, maybe a recent change along with the meditation?) and the restless legs that I'd only experienced mildly before, got UNBEARABLE. Going vegan I had suddenly started eating legumes pretty much morning, noon and night.
Legumes: Beans, peas, soybeans, hummus, alfalfa, peanuts -- good list here:

I found out by accident that a legume allergy can include restless legs syndrome. I felt terrible on the vegan diet and thought I was just detoxing. Now I can tell if I eat anything with hidden soybean oil, etc., just by the restless legs symptoms.
May have nothing to do with your meditation.
