So, if 128 went to area hospitals, I wonder how many - because they were TOLD to - went to the BP Clinic? Probably more than 128. . .

I hope the idiot that was promoting the idea that people start volunteering en masse to clean the oil spill is taking note of this...

It's not noble to go clean a little bit of tar balls off some sand. It's pointless, and dangerous.

Stay the hell away from that stuff if you can. I worked at Prudhoe cleaning up a spill in 76. After wiffing that stuff for a few weeks I went mean crazy. Almost killed a coworker with a shovel cause I "thought" he wasn't working fast enough. I became one of those killer zombies you guys are always talking about.

Noticing the "State faciliaties"... no mention of whether or not they are being told not to go to Private faciliaties if they so desire.

Noticing the pointlessness of the several Soviet Troops who volunteered to pick up the fuel rods on the roof of the reactor at Chernobyl, they were all told it was a suicide mission... at least they were told that... these were Noble - they knew what they were getting into. (at least that was the press at the time).

Much different from people wanting to help and volunteering to clean up the oil mess without any information at all on the dangers, and with only incorrect information... such action would be just Stupid, not Nobel.
