Good point. The answer is because it's about more than just depopulation.... Taking the U.S. down has been a top priority of the UN commies for decades! Now that the dominoes have been carefully lined up, they believe the time is right.

IMO they will get the U.S. "up to speed," i.e. "caught up" with some other nations who are ahead of us in specific areas, like the UK with their surveillance. Since the USA is the "New Atlantis," she will be the first major country to go under the jackboot heel to usher in their new world order. IMO Canada and Mexico will be next, so the entire NA continent will be under heel. Other countries will follow.
