Syrians take 3 Israelis "as prisoners" -- TV Report [11/July/2010] DAMASCUS, July 11 (Saba) -- Syrian residents of the Golan "have taken three Israeli soldiers as prisoners," the Syrian television reported on Sunday, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). The state-run television said, "The sons of the Golan have captured three Israeli soldiers during a raid targeting a house in the town of Majdal Shams" in the mountainous region, EDITED to about 75% of origional contents.This is interesting, but needs solid verification. War in the ME, has typically been timed around this part of the year, historically. It will not be a shock if these reports turn out to be true. Been coming for a while. Incidentally, wasn't 3 the number of soldiers kidnapped when the last skirmish broke out with Lebanon a few years ago?
