Anybody else a fan of Deadliest Warrior?

Me too. I've even gotten to talk about it here before. Somone was asking about whether to buy an AK47 or AR-15. AR won on DW, BTW, mainly because it doesn't jam if the barrel is filled with mud.

Really liked first season,seems like getting low on ideas,waiting for when red ants vs.black ants as the theme.I do think it,s a very good premise, kinda seems like geared toward jr.high kids though.

We should all try to be kind to one another, especially when we are focused on a specific debate or conversation.

So, this Deadliest Warrior program....

I watched some of it, and I think that they focus an awful lot on the power of the weapons themselves without coming up with a way to quantify skill levels.


For instance, if a Spartans weapons are a three and a pirates a five in lethality, the spartan may still win based on the huge level of physical training and raw, lifelong training and skill, that most pirates couldn't come close too.

That kind of thing.

I do get that it is very hard to do that though.

The GSG9 vs. SWAT and the Spetsnaz vs. Green Berets episodes were good.
