As was noted in another thread about this tragedy is that it is also odd as women typically do not shoot themselves or a loved one in the head, it is typically a chest shot not a head shot. I just don't buy the murder suicide story. I just don't buy the murder suicide story. It says the woman's late husband was a contract software developer. I'd like to know exactly what he developed and who he developed for. Also, women typically do not use a gun to commit suicide. Last Edited by Zedakah on 07/16/2010 11:12 AM |

I just don't buy the murder suicide story. Let's just base all our beliefs on generalities and see where it gets us. Oh, we're here! Um, they tend to be generalities because there is a pattern. Hence, I used the word "typically". I did not state "women NEVER"; again, most of the time (typically) women do not shoot themselves in the head. It's called your enteric brain. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1038090What is your instinct about a typed noted taped to the front door and then 3 more notes in the house? What is your thought that there was a land development deal that was nixed and the guy that has taken her place would have profited from the development deal? The woman was in financial trouble, house was foreclosed on, ect. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1038134Personally, if I was in this situation, I would never shoot my child and then myself. I would just leave. This sounds like something the banks would do TO me for being in financial trouble. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1038090Right, but this wasn't a poor drug addict with a history of depression (as far as we know), this was the mayor of a town who had been in public office 12 years. Obviously, she could handle everyday "stress." The only situation I would accept of a murder/suicide is if she was extremely "religious" and found out her daughter turned out to be pregnant or something similar to protect their 'reputation.' And even that is pushing it in my opinion. |

Smilin' Irish Eyes User ID: 656642 United States 07/16/2010 11:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If I were ever to commit suicide, my note would be typed as well. Quoting: Turtles KnowWhat's the big deal? I think it would raise questions. Anyone could have typed that note. Hopefully the investigators will check her computer for the draft copy of the notes. If I were to really plan something like this and typed a suicide note, I would work on writing the note to state the exact reasons and there would be several edits done to the original. I know that I don't like my handwriting and type much faster than I write, I also will re-read what I have written and will edit, but still to leave a note stating what they will find inside taped to the door plus 3 other notes just doesn't ring true.
