Temperatures across Somalia look to be fairly normal now. My guess is that this was actually hail - which often gets mistaken for snow even in England, especially when it falls at night - there is no mention of sub-zero temperatures being recorded which would be necessary for snow to fall. And which would also have resulted in rather more than 1 death I´d have thought!
