Why do places like Six Fags, Geogia Aquarium, and other attactions charge $4.00 for a coke and $6.00 for Fries?

because they can and to make money. drink water. that is free. and bring some snacks from home. no one makes anyone eat at those places. if you don't prepare then you pay the cost. btdt.LOL

That's one factor of why I WILL NOT GO THERE.

If they would offer reasonable prices on things, I would be more prone to go there. Especially on luxury things.

Turn to ESPN and notice the NASCAR race has only HALF the seats sold at INDY, of all places. Pricing themselves into bankrupcy.

high school economics. supply and demand. Supply isn't scarce, demand is high. That means you can exploit the demand by charging increased amounts until your profits drop. That sweet-spot is where they are able to rape the public the most, and they like it. Get that money. Fuck your kid's hydration. Pay up, chump.

I have to say, the burgers at the Georgia Aquarium are REALLY good. I didn't want to pay $5 for a burger, but it was totally worth it!

Simple economics.

Look around the parking lot at al lof the Escalades parked there. the individuals who arrive inthese have A LOT OF MONEY (welfare, drug dealing inccome, armed robbery income, etc...)

They simply do not care what something costs becasue YOU are the one paying for it for them.

You should try the fudge at Six Fags. I heard it is packed really well. Just be careful though, sometimes it has nuts in it.

It's called convenience. Most people eat there are to stupid/lazy to plan for anything. They drive there, pay for their tickets and go play...THAT'S AS MUCH WORK AS THEY WANT TO DO!

FYI, that's one of the most (if not the most) profitable thing at those "parks".

Solution don't buy a coke and save your body from the high fructose corn syrup and or aspartame.

those places are not for POOR people,if you cant afford a lousy coke and fry ,stay home and watch t.v.

They do it because they can...think about it...you are aleady there, the kids are hungry....you do not want to listen to them complain....so you submit and buy the overpriced atrocities
