What does a debtor prison really do? I mean it takes food, maintenance, staff it is really just a black hole. Now a work camp on the other hand at least offers some profitability. But, the global corporations already have slave labor in China and India, why would they readjust their entire structure for debtors prisons. This is most likely a fear tactic to dissuade people from charging up their credit cards before they declare bankruptcy.


Who do you think will pay for that food, maintenance and staff? The taxpayers will. There are quite a few articles on GLP where people are already being imprisoned for not paying debt so i doubt its a fear tactic. It just another way to rape the American people of what they have left.

+ it is for people unable to pay "debt", i.e. people who used credit because they could get credit and now can no longer make payments. Those living off the government teat are safe.


That's going to be a lot of people they will have to spend money to incarcerate.
