Another needless Whooping Cough death..

I thought it was immigration !
You have a point, have to look into it.
I had the dam thing, was driving and could not breathe in, not good !
1 child got it, the other escaped, and my best friend got it, he passed out in a coughing fit.
I can't remember if I coughed 3 or 4 months, nevertheless, Doctors refused to even consider that we had whooping cough, I knew it as I study medicine as a hobby and work in patient care for 30 years. I can't quote the Bible, but I can quote the Merck Manual.
I am in CA, so I know we had articles in the paper a few years later telling folks it was here. A bit late !

Wrong diagnosis. It's impossible for a baby of one month to die from whooping cough, because they're protected by the natural immunity from the mother. This natural immunity (for whooping cough) lasts for at least one to three years.

OP, no one month old newborn has had the whooping cough vaccine in any case. They only get it at the age of three months.

I notice the news item did not say anything about whether the infant was vaccinated or not. Most whooping cough deaths actually occur in the vaccinated children - yet somehow the spin gets to blame the unvaccinated children, who get whooping cough far less than the vaccinated children.

Vaccinations are a scientific fraud. They do NOT confer anywhere near proper immunity - and there is not a single study to prove they have.

If you research BOTH sides of the debate with an impartial, unemotional view - you discover they have NEVER reduced diseases as claimed. The main diseases were already on the decline before vaccines were ever introduced - due to sanitation and refrigeration.

Go look up what vaccine adjuvants are. Do YOU think it is okay to inject mercuric compounds, aluminium hydroxide and formaldehyde into newborn infants? And then do it again dozens more times before they even hit first grade?

I am a parent of two healthy teenagers. I bothered to research both sides of the debate. My conclusion was that I would be endangering the health of my babies MORE if they were vaccinated. I did not vaccinate my children and they have suffered not one disease as a result.

It is NOT the ignorant parents who refuse the vaccines, it is actually the INFORMED ones who do this.

erm...did the parents even refuse vaccination??
if not, then how can this be blamed on vaccinations, either way??

Well...pertussis vaccine is ineffective in a newborn. Their immune systems don't respond to the vaccine. Their only protection is antibodies they inherited from mom while they were in utero but they wear off within weeks unless they are breastfed.

And has it occurred to you that OVERvaccination is bringing back the viruses? That they are mutating and becoming stronger because of the vaccine campaigns? Have you researched pertussis outbreaks and discovered how many WERE vaccinated? So why aren't the vaccines working? Because the virus is mutating maybe? Just like overuse of antibiotics and hand santizers. Viruses are tough and they do adapt. Perhaps instead of vaccinating everyone that moves we should be working on ways to build natural, real, long lasting immunity without creating SUPERBUGS?

Oh and by the way....14 yrs ago my son was diagnosed with *whooping cough" at the age of three weeks. He coughed a bit and stopped breathing and was put on a ventilator for a few days. Turned out not to have been whooping cough, but because of Propulsid ( Prepulsid in South Africa) he'd been given for reflux.

Many healthy babies had died of Propulsid and this awful drug were taken of the shelves later - but only after many many infant deaths.

My son is 14 yrs old today, but almost died because of a bad drug, not whooping cough.

Yes, sorry about that. But pertussis in an under three year old is unheard of.

Whooping cough is epidemic as here in the interior of BC I noticed little kids in the grocery store let out a chronic smoker's sounding cough.

A vaccine maybe a quick fix but the root of the problem is too much of a poor diet. Good food is expensive and the kids have to eat junk foods diet in order to survive.

I notice this because the richer better groomed kids don't all have this same problem.. A doz eggs three to six dollars

Real juice 234 dollars per two quarts. The crap is sugar and artificial flavored juice instead. In the end the kids wind up obese and weak.

Seems third world countries get a better diet .
