BRIEF AND TO THE POINT User ID: 381742 ![]() 08/04/2010 09:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You had a stroke Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

I guess I should do some research on strokes then. How long do the effects of a stroke last? Is this feeling the actual stroke or the after effects? Do they last for a few hours? I'm so confused by this. Thank you for your reply. |

This thing freaked me out so much that I just stopped because I wanted to make sure I wasn't making it worse. For sure you have had a TIA and possibly a stroke. While I hate doctors, they do have a purpose and there is a drug that will halt the more damaging effects of a stroke if administered in time. Go to the Doc or ER. |

ruotsher User ID: 277256 ![]() 08/04/2010 09:24 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You need to go to the emergency room immediately. Don't wait. This is serious. Could possibly be a stroke, or an aneurysm. Don't take the time to research this - Just go Quoting: Anonymous Coward 506460^^^^^^ That ! Love is a state of Being. Your love is not outside; it is deep within you. You can never lose it, and it cannot leave you. You can feel the same life deep within every other human and every other creature. You look beyond the veil of form and separation. This is the realization of oneness. This is love. What is God? The Eternal One Life underneath all the forms of life. What is love? To feel the presence of that One Life deep within yourself and within all creatures. To be it. Therefore, all love is the love of God. Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to die before you die - and find that there is no death. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1055653 ![]() 08/04/2010 11:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seriously, go to the ER asap. These definitely sound like stroke symptoms. The longer you wait the more potential damage could be done. Getting treatment as soon as possible can minimize damage. A stroke is a cutoff of blood supply to parts of the brain due to blockage or breakage of a blood vessel. Those brain cells will die. My mother had a severe stroke and never fully recovered. It affected her speech and he motor skills. She could barely talk or walk after it. Get checked out immediately and get off this freaking forum! |

A hospital bill is worth you saving your life or motor skills. It's only money, and your life is more important. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1055653^^this^^ my mother was eternally worried about bills. therefore she would not see the doctor. She died of kidney and heart failure |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1009104 ![]() 08/04/2010 11:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Please go to the ER. You asked how long the affects of a stroke last.....they don't go away without therapy or maybe never if you don't get immediate medical treatment. This isn't something to screw around about. Just pay off the ER bill $20 a month for the rest of your life. It would be worth it. |

Those are the same symptoms of a TIA. My father experienced it and all those symptoms last year in addition to needing to concentrate on articulating his words. Take aspirin: one per day. BC powder is best as it goes quickly into the bloodstream, and get your arse to a doctor or clinic. . |
