These doctors literally have no knowledge about this class of drugs.
Super condensed version-I took lexapro, also an ssri, for six months. It annihilated me. I gained 30 lbs, developed permanent chronic fatigue, and it hijacked my soul. Literally can’t feel spiritual anymore. I have anhedonia. I’m a shell of the person I once was. That was 16 years ago. I had to give up my job as a professional ballerina. I hate these drugs with every fiber of my being.
Research what meds each school or mass shooter was taking at the time. All were on an AD, and most were on an ssri.

Your main symptom is anxiety, and yet they have you in one of the most anxiety causing ssri’s of any. Prozac is more of an snri, meaning it reuptakes norepinephrine as well as serotonin. Very anxiety inducing. They are all horrible though. Worst drugs to come out in history.

Omg! So I was on prozac 16 years ago. One night after going out, I came home, sat down on the couch and sliced my arm with a knife. Had never tried to harm myself in my life. Has never even occurred to me. Went off shortly after but it permanently damaged me. But have never done something like that since.

Propecia acts similar to ssri’s. And there are tons of reports of middle age men on propecia suddenly wanted to transition. Out of nowhere!
