humans do colonize space through spiritual evolution and reincarnating on other planets in higher frequencies. hawking is unaware of the spiritual universe. humans will never colonize space from earth born lives. civilizations on earth come and go, always have, always will. doesn't mean humans will become extinct.

I've said the same thing for over 25 years and I'm 38.

I told people, "If we don't get into underwater exploration or space, we are going to overpopulate the planet and decimate it."

For that matter, there is NO justification for people in 3rd world countries, or of low economic standing to have more than 1 or 2 children. We don't have to work the land any more, we have technology, people are therefore becoming obsolete.
