Im not a math wiz lol my dad weighs 340 lbs so wat would his ratio be. He is a diabetic and has had problems with losing weight. Right now anything is a help!

At that weight as long as heats less than 340gm of protein he will be fine. In reality he probably couldn't manage anywhere near that, since protein (and high fat) fights back by increasing leptin levels and suppressing hunger. Its the carbs that raise appetite and make you crave more carbs.

He should pretty much just avoid carbs (under 20gm) and not worry too much about the rest. His blood sugars will plunge and his weight will follow the sugars.

Meat, cheese, eggs, cream, full fat mayo, etc to his hearts content - with about 3-4 small green veg helpings a day.

Once he is down to about 180 pounds then he can worry about the ratio's!
