Like any diet, people have to be educated to know the difference between good and bad fats. I can't tell you the number of people I know who have done the low carb thing and thought it meant living on a pound of bacon and a bun-less burger smothered in cheese and a T-bone steak daily.
Actually that sounds pretty good. Lots of good healthy saturated fats :)
I would go for rib-eye though - its fattier - and cover it in a nice Bearnaise or Peppercorn sauce made from Double Cream
Though low on the bacon unless I can get the nitrite free variety
Though my favourite by far is:
Lamb Mince Shallots Red Peppers Mushrooms Hot Cayenne Pepper Paprika Cumin Tarragon Coriander Leaf (Cilantro) Salt & pepper
all nicely fried up in butter
then covered with grated cheese
sour cream all over the top
and sprinkled with sliced hot jalapeno peppers
And know that I shan't gain an ounce, in fact I lost my 85 pounds having this at least 3 times a week :) Yummie!
