The wedding that I am going to attend coming up in two months. There will be someone there who I have feelings for. Should I approach her at that time and how does she feel about me?

Yes you will finish the book, however because of it's lack of originality it will not get published. It's really a test run isn't it? The reasons for it not getting published are to veer you off the path...Write a second book after, and you will have more luck with publishers.

Here's the deal: the only reason I'm writing the book is because I don't have the space to do what I actually love doing right now, which is paint. (and which I *did* have some success at)

So it's really just a "time filler" til I can get back to doing what I really love.

That being the case...I wouldn't actually mind being "veered off the path" (of book-writing)...as long as I can replace it with what I actually love doing.

Anything else to add? Maybe I'll be able to start painting again soon after getting the no-go on the book publishing? LOL. And can just forget about the stupid book thing which has been such a struggle for me?

I am hesitant to approach her OP. Her family knows my feelings for her and told me to stay away even if she is unaware. I dont want to cause any problems at the wedding.

You'll find that book writing and painting will become similiar over time. Don't give up on writing just yet...it's difficult and not as fun, but it'll give you a sense of maturity in your painting.

And in your painting, its not about space but about creating something new. Starting a book is exactly that. A book can be like a great painting, with how you look at it.

Think of graphic novels...and maybe you'll have an idea for the future.

thank you for your response! i am still trying to understand what it is that i am doing here, i feel I can understand it better when an error comes up. i am genuine and I do focus my energy on any question that is offered. i will admit that my initial reaction is to be lazy and not look too deep into things, some things are hard to look into.

I'm having a back and forth with your career...highs and lows...mostly highs that will make you stronger. You are a good person, I can tell, don't let that get in the way of anything...you might have to make some hard decisions based on friendship but know that it's you that matters, and that it's just a job.

so like..i went to go see a reader the other day and it basically she opened up my mind a little...

you must be sensing my thoughts haha, you definitely have not been getting in the middle of this thread. weirdly i've been having this back and forth with you in my mind if that makes sense about what to say to you. you're hard to read, because i almost feel as if you know what im going to say.
the help is welcomed with open arms...and you've really challenged me to think about what i'm doing here..

like i said, a lot of what ifs going through your mind outside of the strong person you put out. i do think the path you are on is that of helping and protecting something.
i think you are very ambitious in your desires and although the outcome will not be what you desire or what you're expecting...i do think it will line up to what you want your future to ultimately be...

Something criminal happened in her family...her parents..shortly after you last talked to her
She's doing good, although I do sense she's a bit depressed, but who isn't now a days?
