THE MYTH ABOUT MOON REVOLVING A SPHERICAL EARTH -- The Moon would rise at 29 different locations around the spherical earth, from east to west.
The Moon according to the Pinocchio science books takes 29 days to make a full orbit around the spherical circumference of the earth being roughly 25000 miles.

This translates to around 862 miles the Moon travels in a 24hr period orbiting above earth, meaning that upon seeing the first of the waxing lunar phase rise in the east, the next lunar phase would rise 862 miles to the left (counter-clock) of where she previously rose and would continue in this fashion for the remained of her lunar calender.

[link to scienceblogs.com]

The Moon would rise all-around the spherical circumference of earth at 29 different locations with a 862 mile separation from east to west and back again. But the Moon always rises in the eastern borders and sets in the western borders just like the sun does, because the Moon orbits above a flat earth.

Just pretend for a second that you are the earth, and that you are standing in circle where a basketball will travel around that circle representing the orbit of the moon.

Place the basketball in front of where you are standing (12'oclock) and this will represent East where the moon is first seen rising. As 'you' complete a full rotation (simulation of earth's axis spin) the basketball has moved towards the left or near 11:30 and will continue moving these increments through-out the lunar calender month, and therewith, you cannot see the basketball rise at the same location (12'oclock) like we see it on the earth day after day, month after month, year after year.

Thank-you, and I hope you have enjoyed this experiment.

Re: THE MYTH ABOUT MOON REVOLVING A SPHERICAL EARTH -- The Moon would rise at 29 different locations around the spherical earth, from east to west.
The Moon appears to move completely around the celestial sphere once in about 27.3 days as observed from the Earth. This is called a sidereal month, and reflects the corresponding orbital period of 27.3 days The moon takes 29.5 days to return to the same point on the celestial sphere as referenced to the Sun because of the motion of the Earth around the Sun; this is called a synodic month (Lunar phases as observed from the Earth are correlated with the synodic month). There are effects that cause small fluctuations around this value that we will not discuss. Since the Moon must move Eastward among the constellations enough to go completely around the sky (360 degrees) in 27.3 days, it must move Eastward by 13.2 degrees each day (in contrast, remember that the Sun only appears to move Eastward by about 1 degree per day). Thus, with respect to the background constellations the Moon will be about 13.2 degrees further East each day. Since the celestial sphere appears to turn 1 degree about every 4 minutes, the Moon crosses our celestial meridian about 13.2 x 4 = 52.8 minutes later each day.
Lunar Phases
The Moon appears to go through a complete set of phases as viewed from the Earth because of its motion around the Earth, as illustrated in the following figure.

Phases of the Moon
In this figure, the various positions of the Moon on its orbit are shown (the motion of the Moon on its orbit is assumed to be counter-clockwise). The outer set of figures shows the corresponding phase as viewed from Earth, and the common names for the phases.

Here is an animation of actual lunar phases, and here is a Java applet illustrating the orbit of the moon around the Earth and the corresponding phases of the Moon as viewed from Earth. Notice that you can set this applet to a top view, an Earth view, or both on a split screen, and that you can start and stop the animation with a button. Also, note that in this applet the position of the Sun is shown to the left, whereas in the above figure the view is such that the position of the Sun is to the right.

The moon goes around the earth once a day
and completes its north-south cycle in 30 days.
It does this because of space aether, as the earth is stationary.

Textbook jesuitical babylonian pagan science claims the moon takes 30 days to complete a slow cycle/orbit around earth as the earth rotates.

SERIOUS QUESTION OP

IF THE EARTH IS FLAT, THE SUN WOULD RISE ON THE ENTIRE EARTH AT THE SAME TIME.

BUT WE KNOW IT DOESN'T.

EXPLAIN THIS.

It all depends on how big you make the sun out to be.

If its as big as the Pinocchio men of scenic claim, then yes.

But we all know its as big as the moon.

They are both the same size.

No, not according to Enoch.

The moon has her route and the sun his, but their routes intercept at given times such as the new_moon where the moon receives her light and thereafter is seen waxing once again.

Wait! If they are at the exact same distance from the earth then they must be in completely separate orbits that NEVER intersect, or cross.

The crossing of orbits would eventually lead to a collision unless they moved at EXACTY the same speed. Even the smallest differential in orbital velocity would end in a collision.

As an aside, does the sun have a zero sum gravity?

Does the moons gravity have any effect on earth?
