"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". If we taught a late-blooming radical Christianist version that tells of Jesus riding to battle on the back of a velociraptor versus the Pharohes of Egypt, we'd have to teach, as a sample:

Babylonian Creation Myth
African Creation Myth - Olori
Comparison of 4 African
Creation Myths
Korean & Japanese
Creation Myth comparisons
Navajo Creation Myth
Norse Creation Myth
Creation Myth from India
Japanese Creation Myth
Comanche Creation Myth
Chinese Creation Myth
Chelan Creation Myth
Pima Creation Myth
Mayan Creation Myth
Miwok Creation Myth
Scandinavian (Norse)
Creation Myths
Salish Creation Myth
Australian Aboriginal
Creation Myth
Hopi Creation Myth
Tahitian Creation Myth
Yokut Creation Myth
Comanche Creation Myth
Egyptian Creation Myths
African - Mande, Yoruba
Creation Myths
Several different short
Creation Stories
Micmac Creation Myth
Lakota Creation Myth
Several Creation Stories:
India, Romania, Mongol, etc..
Chinese Creation / Flood Myth
Assyrian / Babylonian
Creation Myth
Maori Creation Myth
Christian & Jewish
Creation Myth (Genesis)
Aztec Creation Myth
Digueno Creation Myth
Apache Creation Myth
African Creation Myths
Dakota Creation Myth
Hungarian Creation Myth
Iroquois Creation Myth
Inuit Creation Myth
Huron Creation Myth
Hawaiian Creation Myth

And by law say that any of them could be right.

Any politician that goes against that is a traitor. In fact, you shouldn't swear on the Bible, Torah, or Koran when you take office.

YOU SHOULD SWEAR ON A PRINTED COPY OF THE CONSTITUTION.

Because science is based on facts, evidence, and logic whereas as religion is based on myths, beliefs, and old stories.

In the end you can't cure disease or advance technology with a book of old stories.

Hence, science comes in and takes its rightful place.

Grow up you clueless bastard,

The universe is 13.7 billion-years-old, Earth is 4.6 billion-years-old, and an extraterrestrial who was 'The Creator' reincarnated landed in the Tigris-Euphrates River Valley ~6,000 years ago and cloned himself: Adam. He then cloned Eve by changing a chromosone, and the rest is his-story! Noah and Avraham were the reincarnation of this 'God guy', as was Joseph, Moses, Phythagoras, Jesus, Da Vinci, Galileo, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, and now Brad Watson. Ignoring the Bible is as BIG a mistake as ignoring science(58) and design(58).

Re: why the scientific THEORY of evolution is taught in public schools and not religious Intelligent Design
I can understand at this time why evolution is taught in school. Creationist have a fairytale theory of how life began. I guess they beleive a creator stretched down his hands and molded man like a sculptor molds clay, which is so unbelievable to any intelligent thinking being. Do I believe in creationism? I believe everything has an energy or consciousness and Genesis is very clear on the first movements of this higher consciousness. It all began in water. Water has a consciousness and the first stirrings of life began in water and over a period of thousands of years life evolved.

When people understand that there is no white, haired old man sitting on a throne over-looking his kingdom, and realize that we are all part of the 'Source' and there is consciousness in ALL, they will have evolved to the point of understanding that science and spirituality are one.

intelligent design is real. It has connections to the Fibonacci Sequence too.

Of course it's real. Everything has consciousness.

Re: why the scientific THEORY of evolution is taught in public schools and not religious Intelligent Design
The theory of evolution is no more valid than the theory of gravity, or the theory of the nuke-u-lar bomb, or the theory of fiber optics and electricity that supposedly makes the internets go. Place your faith in God, not science. Or as the great war president George W. Bush once said, "The facts may change, but my beliefs never will."

And this is not at ALL a positive trait to have and its the main problem with the nation.

Too many people will flat out ignore logic and evidence based on their "faith" and "beliefs".

These people go around circle jerking each other trying to make it seem ok to ignore rationality in favor or "faith".
