I meant to write 'Nestlings'. If you're from Earth you're an Earthling and if you're from Nestor, you're a Nestling.

OP, are you the Brad Smith from Florida or whatever that was banned from here a long time ago?

If so, prove it by reiterating your last 'sentencing' of me.

Oh, and your 'Nestor' crap is utter nonsense.

A few Nestor links...

[link to webcache.googleusercontent.com]

snip...

‘Nestor’ sounds like *‘next-door’ and humans may have a ‘nest or’ base there. Nestor is 4.6 billion years old and has 6.4 billion humanoids. Hey! That’s just like Earth! If I’m correct, the question now arises, “Are the Nestlings less advanced, more advanced, or at about the same technological development as Earthlings?” This is guess work; however, we can base our assumption on a sound engineering principle: the simpler something is designed, the better it is. And 6_4 is simpler than 7_4. Nestor is designed with less parts74 than Earth, therefore, it should run smarter and faster! Unity among their ‘6 natural divisions’ would be easier to achieve. I imagine the Nestlings are more advanced, yet less complex, less varied – less interesting than Earthlings. (No offense, Nestlings.)

Czarcasym,

A "working stargate" would mean that US Govt scientists have produced an artificial wormhole in the labratory and have perfected its manipulation to the degree of sending humans to Earth-like exoplanets like Nestor. Do you really believe that we currently possess such technology? Do you believe that Eintein & Tesla were invloved in The Philadelphia Experiment? That was 1944 - 66 years ago. It went 'black project' ever since!

Yes, I think they have. The ETs came here first and we're part of their long-time experiment, although we are independent.

Do you mean that you wish Earthlings would join with Nestlings or Vulcans or whoever and form a planetary alliance? Sounds like Star Trek. I do think that Gene Roddenberry was a prophet!

historian,

That's some wierd 'history'! I've never heard of Star Trek's creator referred to as a "prophet". I'm fascinated by the scientific discoveries of exoplanets - 450+ so far - and possible 'new worlds'. As a Bible scholar, I think that this coming discovery of another world will satisfy The Revelation 21:1, "And I saw a new heavens and a new earth." Who says we have to call this planet "Nestor"? I don't think the US Gov. has sent anybody there yet, I don't think we have the technology, although, they do keep many things hidden from the public.

I heard about the Planet Nestor on another forum and I think the concept is very cool! I wouldn't be surprised if the US Government & perhaps others know all about it. Maybe now that the word is getting out on it on GLP & other siites, NASA & others may release more info.

What's up with this "Planet Nestor"? This is the second thread today that I've seen on it. Have I missed something? I guess I should follow a link.

I do think that Earth has been 'visited' a lot in our ancient history. I don't know about lately. I've seen a bunch of people that I'm suspect of. Rush Limbaugh could very well be an evil alien!

Hey! It's good to see others discussing PLanet Nestor. If you're not aware of it, I presented a poster at the NASA Conference Missions for Exoplanets 2010-2020 held on April 21-23, 2009 in Pasadena, CA. It can be found on NASA's website: [link to exep.jpl.nasa.gov]

Oh ya, I do believe that the US Govt has sent representatives to other Earth-like planets - especially Planet Nestor! But, I could be wrong on that. However, I'n not wrong about Planet Nestor and its running on 6_4.

Today's news referred to European astronomers discovering a Sun-like star with 7 planets orbiting it. It is a 127 light-years away and they don't think there is an Earth-like planet in that solar system. Coincidentally, the Planet Nestor is predicted to be in a 7-planet system. Hmm...

'Nestor' is the name being given for the Earth-like exoplanet with intelligent civilization that is located nearest to Earth. Nestor sounds like "next-door" and humans may have a 'nest or' base there. 'Nestor' also has 6 letters and their planet runs on 6, as opposed to Earth running on 7.

If the Govt is sending representatives to the Planet Nestor, they would need to learn 'Eqfish' first. It's very similar to English, mostly the Fs & Gs are switched around. Gor example...

On Nestor the folgers drink Golfers.

I don't think we invented them, but they exist. There was one in Iraq. Why do you think we invaded? WMD? No, Saddam had technology he couldn't have. He'd have been able to get alien tech and gain too much of an advantage. So we invaded and stole his stargate. Now we have two of them that I know of.

Where they came from is anyone's guess. The government has pretty much admitted to it when they let the joint chiefs of staff guest star on the tv show. Then they had those episodes where they let Hollywood do a show on stargates as cover for the real thing. That was admitting the gate was real right there.

Even saw a picture of the "real" SG-1 once. Nothing like the actors.

I just can't understand why they won't be up front about it.
