And your point is??? Maybe you all should work at a federal building to realize how things work with flag lowerings for dignitaries and icons. It doesn't matter if they're current senators or not. It doesn't matter if they were "acused" or "aquitted" or what. I've had to lower the flag for all kinds of people in all kinds of offices and situations.

He should have, by custom, had a flag lowering service in his honor. That's just the way it is...if you don't like it, write your senator...before he's killed in a "plane crash".
