She purposefully sits in the sunlight for intervals of time to soak up the D...Yea, she's getting ready to ascend! I don't go in the sun like your dog does though. Although it has been cold the last few days (90s) it was three digit weather (110-116) for 45 days straight just before this cool down. I am not going to sit in the sun at 110, lol! |

Possible, this is due to the weakening magnetosphere (I am no scientist). Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1052576I would be cautious not to become over-exposed. Is that really true? I know what you mean (I seem to go red fairly quickly) but is this because we have been avoiding regular exposure due to media fearmongering? Maybe regular exposure negates these effects? |

Unfortunately that is the truth, but this is only the case in some select parts of the world Be self-aware, you can feel once your body has had its fill of sunlight. We have accumulated many toxins in our bodies that we would do well to rid ourselves of -- It would be even better to limit the amount of toxins we ingest in the first place, at least as much as that is possible in today's increasingly toxic environment... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 955957And it would take shitload of it. Jeez, do your homework. The daily recommended by dumbass "official government agencies" are set so low, it makes no beneficial differences. You need a lot more than what you've been told. Federal guideline is 200-400 IU a day. Latest papers indicates that on average that adults need 5000 IU a day. Compare that to people with fair skin standing buck naked for 20-30 minutes at midday during warm months.... 10,000-20,000 IU or more. Your body self regulates the amount of vitamin D from the sun but 5,000 IU a day from supplement wont kill you. It's just to maintain optimal level esp during cold months or jobs that you cant get out and take shirt off for 20-30 minutes. Hell, even air pollution in large cities block UVB sunlight.
