And it's not what people think it is anyway, in fact when the ark IS revealed many Christards are going to be seriously dissolutioned about their religion, as are many other religious worshipers of other faiths. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 884206Interest is piqued. Please elaborate, if possible with a link. What do you believe the ark is and why will it disillusion people about their religion? Thanks. |

If any interested [link to www.wyattmuseum.com] The story of the Ark in Arkansas is also intriguing as there have been many archeological signs around the area. Just food for thought. [link to www.roytaylorministries.com] In the American State of Arkansas, there is a mountain range called, "the Ozarks." In the Ozarks there is a section known as "the land of caves." Also in this Ozark Mountain Range, is an area called, the Blue Canopy area, or the veil. Note here that God said that the Mysterious, Sacred, and Holy Ark of the Covenant was always to be covered, with a blue canopy. In the old records of the American State of Arkansas, on one of the old, old maps, there was an area that was called, "The Blue Canopy Mountains." The Mysterious, Sacred, and Holy Ark of the Covenant, was always to be covered with a blue veil. Symbolically, The Blue Canopy Mountains, would now cover the Mysterious, Sacred, and Holy Ark of the Covenant. |

I don't know if this is what you are referring to, but some believe that it will be revealed before the coming of Jesus. I believe that Ron Wyatt's claims are bogus. He also claimed that he found Noah's Ark, Babylon, and other sites that archaeologigst have been looking for--all while he was on vacation in the Middle East. Be very skeptical when going over this information, however. There is compelling information there, but there are subtle errors. Quoting: ZerubbabelMaybe who knows. He did state that when they initiated Sunday law that it would be revealed. This will be the law to make all worship or take a mandatory day of rest if not they would not be able to buy or sell. If sunday law is instituted I believe it would be after an entire global economic collpase which we all know is on the horizon. Also think of the ramifications to have such a biblical relic I'm sure there are those who would fight tooth and nail to hide it. |

Are you talking about that Bible or the Koran. |
theskunkmeister User ID: 1088474 Netherlands 09/03/2010 04:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, this: "...Graf’s solution to the problem of the missing Temple was that the Temple was mentioned repeatedly as the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle was the tent of meeting that Moses erected in the desert to house the Ark of the Covenant." "... the Tabernacle never existed, that it was a fiction made up during the Second Temple period because the writer wanted to establish a law code that was in the interests of the Temple priests and needed the antiquity and authority of Moses to validate the Temple as a replacement of the Tabernacle." "... allow me to point out all the many confabulations that exist in the Bible have one single objective: to inflate the importance of Yahweh. They do this by using anything and everything as lessons to whip Yahweh’s people into line. If there was any way whatsoever that the loss of the ark could have been used to induce guilt, I think it would have been. What seems clear is that a substitute ark was all that existed in Judah from some point in history. Thus, at the time of the exile, the loss of this substitute ark was no big deal." "It seems that when the ark was no longer needed as a major item to legitimize only one Tabernacle, to change the perceptions of the people, it was dropped as an issue. " "But again, let us remember that even if the ark that was present at the time of the Babylonian destruction was merely a “representative” object, it was still based on some real object that existed at some other point in time and space, and the history had been mythicized, and then re-historicized. Nevertheless, this deals another blow to the seekers of the Ark of the Covenant under the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem!" "... it’s clear that they no longer needed the ark at the time of the Second Temple, so it was simply allowed to fade into oblivion as a nice story of the grand and glorious ancestors. Again, I suggest that this was based on some seed of ancient truth, but figuring out what it was - or is - is not going to be as simple as the many Ark chasers of the present day would have us think. One thing seems to be clear: there was no Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem, and no Ark of the Covenant inside whatever temple did exist there. So we can discard the tales of the Ark in Axxum or the Ark under the Temple being retrieved by the Templars or the Roman Emperor, Titus." read this [link to www.bibliotecapleyades.net] religion is mass mind control, evidently once again. deprogram yourself, read the ancient pagan myths illuminate yourself. seek and u will find, hopefully before the Internet censorship ciao |

[link to www.forteantimes.com] << The entire structure and purpose of the Temple was to create and harness massive charges of static electricity. Everything about it was designed to enhance and amplify this energy to maximum effect, for reasons that we are, perhaps, only too familiar with. Within this structure, the Ark played a crucial role as catalyst, but it was a single component of a larger system; outside of the Temple walls in which it was designed to function, the Ark was of limited use, except, perhaps as a symbol. >> |

Heaven is where the Ark [God's earthly throne] is. The clue given in Jeremiah 49:38 says God will set His throne in Elam. Elam [Persia/Iran] was where God anointed His new king, Cyrus. Cyrus' army = Medes/Persians [the ones who come from "heaven" in Is13. ~ |

What some do not realize, is that the many attempts to steal the original, prompted the construction of fakes or copies. And these were used as decoys for the original. The Bible does not state when God retrieved the Ark from the earth but i suspect it was when Jesus rose and returned to Heaven. He is our 'covenant' now and it was unnecessary for the Ark to remain here. Gal 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? Here in America - in GOD we still trust... Be silent! Be patient! Be quiet! Be Still! - And know that He is God. |

Line of Judah (OP) User ID: 544896 United States 09/07/2010 11:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey, dipshit, the Ark of the Covenant is an "Old Testament" thing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1088566you have been sucked in by the oldest cult on the planet,,christards So you're saying the 'old testament' is not relavent anymore? Typicall 'christian'... You just said that the Messiah is not relavant anymore. John called him "The Word", whcih was Torah, or as you call it, 'old testament'. He was the word ans established the Torah. the early Church had NO NEW TESTAMENT to check out what Paul and the apostles were saying. So the checked it with the Torah. this is why there's so many different religions in christianity. You don't know the culture (which was opposite from western), you don't know the original language but only have bad translations influenced by Roman Catholics, and most importantly, you don't base the 'new testament' off of the Torah! This is why you make up tons of things, take one verse out of a LETTER and make a new religion out of it that doesn't go along with the rest of the bible and you further ADD TO AND TAKE AWAY from YHVH's Word. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (iniquity = no Law {torah}, Lawless) Matt 7:22 You've been warned. Haile Menelik User ID: 341042 Netherlands 09/07/2010 12:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ethiopian Orthodox Church has the Arc of the Covenant. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1088486My ancient grandfather has buried the Arc of the Covenant somewhere in the desert. Why Yemen is the next war front. Menelek, the only son of Queen Saba (i.e. Queen Sheba) and Solomon, was depressed when he learned that his father’s kingdom had been overcome and the Temple in Jerusalem was sacked. His grief was deep (“…the happiness of the Son was poisoned…”) and this worried his mother. Shortly after this invasion of Jerusalem, Menelik received word that the Ark of the Covenant (the “box/cell of the Lord” AT-EL), formerly housed in Solomon’s Temple, was relocated for its protection. The text refers to an “oath” that was taken by Menelik to protect the Ark, apparently consumated by a ring that was given to Menelik when he visited Solomon as a young man. Menelik also received a warning from Nathan, his half-brother, that the Ark could be harmful to his health and that it had caused vision problems and “trembling” when Nathan had attempted to interact with it. Menelik retrieves the Ark but has none of these adversities and eagerly interacts with this “box of El”, eventually constructing a special underground chamber where he stores the Ark and converses through it with the Lord. As the danger of invading enemies becomes real for the kingdom of Saba, Menelik announces that the Lord has instructed him to enter the underground chamber with the Ark, and to have the entire construction covered with sand to conceal it from hostile forces. Menelik informs his mother, Queen Saba, that he will remain buried with the Ark for a long period of time, until a “friendly” nation is overhead. Following her only son’s instructions, Menelik is buried with the Ark. However, his mother has a smaller chamber constructed adjacent to the Ark chamber with a secret peephole (“…aperture…”) so that she can monitor his condition. She secretly plans to open the chamber and rescue her son should he be in danger and has had one of the chamber walls constructed without mortar. On many occasions, Queen Saba viewed her son inside the chamber. She mentions that he received a future revelation from the Ark, which sounded to her like thunder. As she watched Menelik interact with the Ark, she noted that he trembled and shook from the visions that were being shown to him. As time passed, the thundering noise and movement of her son ceased. Upon opening the secret peephole, the Queen saw a worm crawl out. This suggested that maybe Menelik had died. The Queen was determined to open the chamber and rescue her son but she recalled his faith and remembered his words, that he would be buried for “a long time.” She wept (“…cried an ocean of tears…”) that his vision of the future also included the revelation that she had doubted his word and she prayed that he would forgive her for her doubts.
